The Walk We Take

This blog is our walk, our way after the loss of a wonderful son, brother, & friend.
At only 21 years old our beautiful Dayton was killed in a horrible car accident and went home to be with our Heavenly Father.
Dayton Tyler Beard was a young man full of life. His love for family, friends, and our Heavenly Father surpassed many. He loved to fish, hunt, dance, mudding, horseback riding, working on cars and the Army; but his true love was others, he loved being around others, he loved helping others. That was one of the reasons he joined the Army. He had such an amazing effect on everyone he came into contact with, and that would be why he was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. It has been breathtaking as to how many people has told us he was an amazing man and how he has changed their life. This young man made an impact on this world. He was part of the 13th bravo 1st brigade 2-12FA, he loved being a soldier, son, brother, & friend.

Getting to know Dayton - Facebook posts days before his death

Doing a early #wcw I miss and love my best friends. The 3 amigos will never be separated. Best friends from the beginning till the end. We always there for each other through thick and thin.

Passed the gunners test today for the first time ever taking it. Hello assistant gunners position.
Training only makes you better.

Everyone please pray for my grandma. She's in the hospital.

Everyone please continue to pray for my grandma.

The power of prayer is amazing. I just wanna thank each and everyone of you for praying for my grandma. And ask you to continue to pray. Things are turning out better than we thought, and I couldn't be more thankful.

So many soldiers think they deserve so much respect, which they do. but honestly I think my mom deserves more than me. For raising me, and setting me free to follow my dream, and protect my friends and family. We all know it's hard for a parent to let their kid go not knowing when they are gonna see them again, and being hundreds of miles away from them. So next time you wanna thank someone, thank a military family because they go through just as much.

Please pray for my grandma..

For those of you wondering and praying for my grandma. She just got out of surgery. They amputated her leg from below her knee down. And I would greatly appreciate it if you'd continue praying. She is in recovery now. Thank you all.

So happy to be home. Little brothers football game. Then caravan in tulsa.
